Successful completion of this course will produce a certificate that can be downloaded and printed immediately. This course is for those who are designated as installers. Installers are workers who are responsible for the installation of the traffic control devices, but are not responsible for the oversight of it. 

This course covers the Ontario Traffic Manual Book 7 (Temporary Conditions) in its 2022 updated version, the Occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations as it applies to traffic control, and human factors and positive guidance as it relates to drivers. Students will be taken through the key elements of Book 7, walked through typical layouts with examples, and given practical advice for in the field.
