Successful completion of this course will produce a certificate that can be downloaded and printed immediately. This course is for those who are designated as supervisors. Supervisors are workers who within their organization are titled as supervisors, lead hands, or forepersons, or those responsible for the supervision of the use of traffic control to ensure it is applied properly and safely.

This course covers the Ontario Traffic Manual Book 7 (Temporary Conditions) in its 2022 updated version, the Occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations as it applies to traffic control, and human factors and positive guidance as it relates to drivers. Students will be taken through the key elements of Book 7, walked through typical layouts with examples, and given practical advice for in the field.
